This tour leads along the striking River Bisse through the heart of a beautiful forest dense with larch and spruce. The views of the fabulous mountain world are simply captivating.The tour starts in Les-Mayens-de Sion, where you are soon on an easy path in magnificent airy forest. The historic River Bisse serves to irrigate the valley and is your faithful companion along the way. The path is lined by imposing spruce and larch which are particularly impressive testaments to time. The route leads through the idyllic region above the valley. The beauty of the forest is not restricted to any one season. The tiny glades found from time to time, the pleasant silence of the forest and sudden open views of the wide valley floor with breathtaking mountain scenery in the background will bewitch every nature lover. The path is mostly wide and repeatedly offers secluded picnic areas with splendid views, inviting you to take a break. Along the way you can also discover objects of art that are an exciting feature in the natural world. This relaxing idyll lasts the whole way back to Les-Mayens-de Sion.Accessibility Information
