Description
From fishability.org:
“Fishability assists children and adults requiring support to experience the joy of fishing with the assistance from trained and experienced volunteers and by using purpose-built motorised rods, reels and fishing rod holders and providing:
- Organised shore, jetty and boat based fishing activities
- Acts in an advocacy role in promoting inclusive participation in recreational fishing.
- Wheelchair accessible vessels for guided river, ocean and estuary fishing trips
- Advice on universally accessible fishing locations and facilities
Our Fishability activities are provided at no cost and are fully supported by Fishability. Just access the Fishability calendar in your region and contact the coordinator to discuss the opportunity for you to participate at an upcoming activity.
Perhaps you would prefer to find an accessible fishing location using our “Fishability Map” and head off fishing with family or friends.”
