The Strahan Wilderness Lodge C1890 was built as the North Lyell Mine Managers residence in Gormanston. In the 1980s the home was moved to Strahan in a position over-looking Macquarie Harbour and the fishing fleet of Mill Bay.
Choose from a self-contained harbour view suite with a kitchenette and bathroom, one of our standard queen rooms with a fridge/kettle. Our two economy rooms have use of the shared kitchenette. All rooms have a private en-suite bathroom.
