You will find details about sights and service institutions as well as information on accessible accommodation, public transport and events. We offer guided city walks in German sign language and guided tours to blind people, people with impaired mobility and to wheelchair users. Our tourist information offices at the main station and in the Altstadt (Old Town) provide level access and lowered counters and our staff has received trainings to be aware of your special needs.
Our services are to make your stay in our city pleasant and eventful. Let our tour guides give you recommendations and advice to discover Düsseldorf’s diversity and high quality of life in an easy way. Ed Rex, of the RexyEdventures deaf travel blog, has road-tested the guide and described his experiences in his blog post Is Dusseldorf Barrier Free For People With Deafness and Hearing Loss?“
