Description
From www.bigbanana.com:
“In 1964 John Landi wanted something to make passing traffic stop at his road side banana stall. He had heard of a “Big Pineapple” in Hawaii and thought that something big would definitely stop traffic.
The Big Banana Fun Park now boasts the BIGGEST Water Park between Sydney and the Gold Coast. It’s a full day of fun for the entire family set amongst the bananas, overlooking the amazing Coffs Harbour coastline.”

Mobility accessibility further information:The following are excerpts from Havewheelchairwilltravel.net:
"Accessible parking bays are available in the car park close to the entrance to the café, shop and The Big Banana itself.
The café is wheelchair accessible and if you don’t have time for a sit down lunch there’s wraps and sandwiches available to takeaway.
A stand-alone unisex accessible bathroom is located near the café."
TOBOGGAN RIDE
"Although there’s ramp access, it’s super steep.
I would suggest families with young children in a wheelchair may manage but it’s inaccessible to the majority of wheelchair users."
ICE SKATING
"Wheelchairs can go on the ice at the ice rink.
Accessible parking is at the door and ramp access is available to the rink once inside.
A stand-alone accessible bathroom is available in the ice rink."
