The Experience
Before boarding the jet boat, your crew will give you a safety brief to prepare you for your ride. Written instructions are also available in English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
You will be provided with a lifejacket to wear during the ride.
You may get wet, so you could wear a spray jacket or take a change of clothes.
Bags and belongings can’t be taken on the boat. There is secure storage provided to keep them safe until your return.
Mobility aids such as wheelchairs and prams are not able to go on the boat. We will store them and have them ready for you when you return.
Service animals are not able to go on the boat for their own safety. Staff will happily take care of them while you are on your ride.
Boarding
There is ramp access down to the jetty where you will board the boat. The ramp has a gradient of 1:20 and minimum width of 115 centimetres. The pontoon width is 3 metres.
To board the boat you will need to clear the side which is 36 centimetres up from the jetty to the lip, then step down 20 centimetres to the seat and another 44 centimetres to the floor. Assistance can be provided if required.
The Jetboat has a loud engine and is open to the wind. You may also get wet from the sea spray.
We are happy to work with you to ensure you thoroughly enjoy your experience.
