Description
From the Jindalba boardwalk website:
Venture a short way into lush rainforest at Jindalba (meaning ‘foot of the mountain’). Stroll along the boardwalk, meandering through rainforest that cloaks the foothills of Mount Alexandra. Walk quietly and, if you’re lucky, spot a Bennett’s tree-kangaroo rustling around the canopy, buff-breasted paradise kingfisher flitting through the forest or a musky rat-kangaroo on the forest floor.
If you are in a wheelchair, you can access the creek from the exit end of the boardwalk. Relax in the Jindalba day-use area before continuing your discovery tour of the Daintree.
