Description
DWA is an organisation with a national perspective taking responsibility for development of disability winter sport in Australia. Through building the capability and capacity of a National Sport System, including accountability at the national level, we provide members with technically sound sports programs, policies and service. When visiting Mt Buller please note: – DWA members can access concessions of up to 40% off private lessons. – There are block out periods during the Victorian school holidays from the 30th June to 15th of July where this concession is not applicable. – DWA concessions are not applicable to products with ‘Off Peak Periods’ as these are already heavily discounted. DWA’s Resort Services Program at Mt Buller offers the support for both members and resort stakeholders around adaptive snowsports and disability. As a DWA member you can request and book adaptive equipment and request a volunteer adaptive snowsport guide (if available). Mt Buller has a DWA Resort Services Coordinator who is a central point of contact for information related to disability services specific to Mt Buller for: – Resort stakeholders, accommodation providers, snowsport schools, hospitality, lift companies – People with a disability, their families and friends who are wanting to come to the resort – DWA volunteers
