"In select auditoriums Dendy Cinemas offers the USL Two channel IR headphones for HI (hearing impaired) and VI-N (visually impaired narrative). Audio is delivered to these headsets via infrared (IR) technology.
The left side of the headset provides an amplified version of the films soundtrack to support patrons with difficulty hearing, and the right side provides the secondary narration to the soundtrack for visually impaired.
Both tracks can be used together, or separately if desired. The user can adjust the volume controls on both the left and right side of the headset as desired to achieve a comfortable listening level.
Please see a Dendy Team Member to collect the equipment and you may be asked to leave a form of ID to ensure its safe return at the end of the film."

Closed Captions (CC)
Movie session times that offer Closed Caption capability are tagged with ‘CC’ after the session time.
"Dendy Cinemas offers the USL Closed Captioning System in select auditoriums to enhance the hearing impaired cinema patron’s movie-going experience.
Captions are delivered via infrared energy to a wireless device with a private display, so only you can see the captions. The text is green on a black LED screen. The device is attached to a flexible arm with a base that fits into the theatre seat cup holder, and can be flexibly positioned in front of you. The unit can be used in any seat in the cinema auditorium.
