General accessibility information:Accessible cabin
"Our accessible Deluxe cabin for four is wheelchair friendly with low benchtops in the galley kitchen and with easy access switches and door handles. The open-plan layout also gives you plenty of room to move smoothly around the dining and lounge areas which spill out to the adjoining verandah.
The cabin offers two bedrooms – one with a Queen bed and ample space for manoeuvrability, and one with a set of bunk beds.
The bathroom also has a wheelchair accessible shower with handrails and a sleek sliding screen separates the bedroom from the kitchen area for some private space."
Mobility accessibility features:- Sufficient clearance for wheelchairs under tables
Mobility information:The following are excerpts from Havewheelchairwilltravel.net:
"The accessible cabin has a ramp which wraps around the back of the cabin linking the car parking space at the front of the property to the verandah and internal access. The ramp is even wide enough to accommodate BJ’s beach wheelchair.
The kitchen has a lowered microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The sink has a lever tap and most of the plates, cups and utensils are at a lowered height for easy access."
MAIN BEDROOM
"The main bedroom has clear access and good circulation space on one side of the bed for transferring from a wheelchair."
ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM
"The accessible bathroom has great access with a flip-down shower bench seat, height adjustable hand-held shower head and lever taps.
Grab rails are fitted throughout and the bathroom sink has wheelchair access underneath. The sink has a small bench attached which is perfect for a toiletries bag."
SECOND BEDROOM
"The second bedroom is extremely compact so although it has a sliding door it isn’t suitable for someone dependent on their wheelchair."
CAMP FACILITIES
"The camp kitchen has ramp access and is spacious with good circulation for wheelchair users.
The bench seating in the camp kitchen has room at the end of each bench for a wheelchair user to roll under.
Laundry facilities are located a short distance away from the accessible cabin. Ramp access is provided, though there is a small lip into the doorway. Once inside, the facilities are spacious."
