From www.qhotels.co.uk: Arrival At The Cheltenham Chase Hotel, you will find 200 parking spaces of which 6 are reserved for blue badge holders. These are located on either side of the hotel's main entrance. There is also a turning circle located directly outside the main entrance for dropping off and picking up only. This has a dropped kerb. There is a level, paved route from the disabled parking into the hotel where the main entrance has two automatic doors. If you need assistance with luggage or equipment, our team are on duty 24 hours. Reception The Reception desk is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the entrance lobby. The reception desk is 114cm high although check-in can also be completed whilst sitting in the lounge area, directly opposite reception. The following accessible aids are available at Reception: Portable Induction Loop for use at Reception ‚ An evac chair is also available to enable staff to assist with the emergency evacuation, if necessary. Directly opposite the main reception are the lifts to all floors for bedrooms, leisure club and meeting rooms. Bedrooms The Cheltenham Chase Hotel has 2 purpose built disabled rooms on the ground floor. Public Areas There are no steps or slopes on the main corridors and public areas on the ground floor. All the restaurant, bar and lounge facilities at The Cheltenham Chase Hotel are located on the ground floor making them easily accessible. Accessible toilet facilities are located in the lobby area, between the lounge and leisure facilities. Conference, Banqueting & Meeting Rooms The Buckholt Suite, meeting room is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible from Reception. All other conference rooms are on the first floor and are accessed via the lifts directly opposite reception or staircases to the left of the reception desk & the left of Reflections leisure club. Hearing loops are available upon request in advance. Lighting can be dimmed where required. Please notify your conference or banquet organiser for specific seating or staging requirements. Accessible toilets are located at in the lobby opposite reception on the ground floor & within the first floor Spa entrance area. Reflections Leisure and Spa The leisure club is located on the ground floor & first floor. The first floor is accessible via the lifts in the main lobby. A member of the leisure team will show you the facilities and assist with access to the swimming pool and spa. If required, a hoist is available to gently lower you in and out of the pool and spa bath. A dedicated accessible toilet and changing area is located within the leisure club, as well as a wheel in shower room with drop down seat and appropriate grab rails. Access to poolside is on the same level and there are steps with a handrail into the shallow end of the pool. Both the steam room and sauna are accessible with door widths of 85cm though there is a ridge of 8mm on entry. Seating is provided in both. Outdoor Facilities The patio area can be accessed via the external doors located in Hardy's Restaurant, which is level and paved or by doors from the bar, this route has a step of 12cm.
