Mobility Information:"The level-access main entrance is through a heavy, double swinging door (swings outward, clearance width 190 cm). An exterior lift takes you from the street level to the level of the main entrance.
Wheelchairs and walking aids may be borrowed free of charge at the main cloakroom, with a personal ID card as a deposit."
Lifts and stair lifts
"You can reach the ALBERTINA Museum’s main entrance from the street via the exterior lift or via the escalator.
Inside the ALBERTINA Museum, there are two lifts: The cloakroom lift (doorway width: 110 cm, cabin dimensions: 200 x 110 cm) will take you to the handicapped-accessible toilet facilities on Level -1 as well as to the free cloakroom lockers there.The exhibition lift (doorway widths: 150 cm and 130 cm, cabin dimensions: 270 x 260 cm) connects you with all of the exhibition areas. This lift also enables you to reach the handicapped-accessible toilet on Level 1.
Some rooms in the exhibition areas are at different floor levels; these can be reached via stair lifts (capacity max. 285 kg). To operate these stair lifts, you will need a Euro-Key. If you do not have your own Euro-Key, our museum attendants will be happy to operate the stair lifts for you.
The stair lifts should not be used with electric wheelchairs."
